Cornerstone Regional Hospital

I just wanted to share my experience at this hospital. We were there on Thursday due to my child’s surgery and I’m beyond thankful for all their genuine care and support they showed us. I was very scared once my daughter was admitted into the surgery room and a nurse came to talk to me as she saw me crying. I love how she treated me and made me feel better by letting me know that everything was going to be fine with my baby girl’s procedure. Once in the recovery room everyone was so helpful and empathetic, you could tell they cared for you. I never felt this way in another hospital, so kudos to all the staff working here and thank you so much for all your assistance and for caring for us ❤️ you are doing a great job 👏🏻

I wish to purposefully praise and give personal thankfulness and gratefulness to my very compassionate and devoted nurse Alyssa. Who made my after surgery care very comfortable and relieved me of my anxiety by being such a professional and caring nurse. She went above and beyond the call of duty for me. With all due respect, your patient José Luis Valle. PS I thanked Dr. Bassett face to face personally already. Cornerstone Hospital and staff are magnificent. I look forward to getting my right knee done.

I just finished my surgery today and I must say it was another phenomenal experience. The reason I made it a point to write my review today because I am just very happy with my experience. My Operating Doctor was “The” Doctor Carlos Ayala (which by the way a phenomenal ENT in the Rio Grande Valley with an impeccable military resume). I also want to give credit to my anesthesiologist Dr. Martinez, I am just so happy with the minimal amount of pain and injury I have from the tubing that was placed during surgery. He was very thorough on what his plan was for administering the anesthesia and has excellent bedside manners. Dr. Martinez if you read this thank you sir, I was dreading this surgery because I was familiar with the possible side effects of the tubing that was involved with the oxygen process with the anesthesia. Whatever Dr. Martinez did with setting up the oxygen tubing with my anesthesia it worked amazingly I virtually have no pain and no swelling. I am just so happy and pleased with the team I had on my procedure today, from the front desk staff to the physicians and nurses involved thank you so much Cornerstone Regional Hospital for providing the facility and care I needed, and even the custodians that are responsible for keeping hospital clean it was immaculate in my perspective. There are no words that can describe the outstanding service that I recieved from Dr.Ayala ,Dr. Marinez, and my nurse Ms. Steffanie everything worked together harmoniously I couldn’t ask for a better team and facility today. Thank you all for making such a great impact on my experience and most importantly my health.

Awesome treatment and staff. I really enjoyed my stay and the staff and doctor were amazing. My only complaint is the billing department. They are extremely annoying with their letters to pay what the insurance didn’t cover, even after they were advised of the check being sent out. Also aren’t good in helping their “important” patients with billing questions or concerns. I felt like I was welcomed when I was there but when it comes to the money, they don’t treat you like a loved patient anymore.

My husband had to get knee surgery and I cannot be more grateful to everyone that was there helping us. The nurses, staff and doctors all took wonderful care of us and provided us with all the information we needed. Definitely the BEST hospital experience we have had by far!! If my husband breaks another body part we will DEFINITELY come back here 🥰.

I cannot begin to tell you how kind and attentive the people at this hospital were. Everyone, everyone were so helpful, attentive, kind, and friendly. I was there overnight and it was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital. That is why I gave them 5 stars. I would add more if it was possible. My Dr was Dr Marquez and I believe he is the best orthopedic doctor anywhere. He is also kind and pleasant to talk to. He listens and answered any questions. Great hospital!

If I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would, the staff was amazingly nice and they had the student nurses here training which I loved to be able to be apart of as they’re our future, the drs were so comforting as they sat down and took their time speaking with me and asked questions about what lead me to have surgery in the first place. The food was delicious they sure made it with love with great presentation, the staff/nurses were beyond attentive and very gentle with me. I hope I never have to have surgery again but if I do I would definitely want to do it here and if anyone was looking for recommendations I would send them this way for a great experience. Thank you Cornerstone for all you have done for me you are appreciated.
